Audio Experiments

Over the past year the audio editor, Sarah Kate Kramer and I have been dabbling in a bit of audio fun. Inspired by Sarah Geis’ Audio Playground we’ve been putting together short pieces on very short deadlines (~2 hours) done for our own amusement and to sharpen our Reaper skills. Consider it our COVID project. Some of the shorts are pretty good, some of them are trash, all of them were fun to make. I’ll post my favs from time to time.

This piece, entitled “The 14th Way,” was inspired by a simple prompt to sonify a poem. The poem of choice: “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird” by Wallace Stevens.
